Preparations under way for the Honolulu-Naha Youth Cultural Exchange

Preparations are under way for the December 2026 program, which marks the 65th year of the Honolulu-Naha sister-city relationship.

A Honolulu 13U select team has received a special invitation to the JAL Okinawa Rookies Baseball Cup and is set to become the first international team to compete in the championship.

Alongside competition, the program combines school interaction, cultural experiences and community activities to build lasting relationships across Hawaiʻi and Okinawa.
