A California select team, Team United States, traveled to Wakayama and Okayama with its middle-school players and coaching staff for competition, cultural exchange and community engagement.

The delegation paid a courtesy visit to the City of Wakayama alongside representatives of the Wakayama Little Senior select team, sharing impressions of playing against Japanese teams. An exchange game against a local select team was played at Kimiidera Park Baseball Stadium.

The program brought together players, families, local organizations and civic representatives through experiences extending beyond the playing field, while creating relationships that can support future exchange.
